Your health insurer can provide information about colorectal cancer screenings, about the stool test or a colonoscopy.

Two options, one goal: Prevention or early detection of colorectal cancer.

Option 1 – Colonoscopy: From age 50, this examination can be done twice, ten years apart.

After a detailed consultation, the examination is performed by a specialist.

Possible precancerous growths will be detected and removed.

Option 2 – Stool test for hidden blood:From age 50, you can do it every two years. (2.Fs.: From age 50, every two years.)

After a detailed consultation, the sample is taken at home and returned to your doctor's office.

If the stool test shows abnormalities, a colonoscopy is recommended for clarification.
